Case Study
North East Link Project
As part of SPARK Consortium, Greenshoot created the overall design strategy for the project and led First Nations community consultation and culturally responsive design translation.
North East Link is the world’s first road project to use the International Indigenous Design Charter principles, and adopts three Wurundjeri pillars to guide the design: Connection to Country, Caring for Country and Connecting People.
The project won the 2022 WAF Future Project: Infrastructure award in addition to a WAFX award - a special prize for international proposals that embrace cutting-edge design approaches to address major world issues.
