First Peoples Partnership Strategy

Development Victoria DV sought to develop a First Peoples Partnership Strategy (FPPS) to enable the agency to better leverage their operations and projects to deliver meaningful outcomes for First Peoples communities. The project was delivered in two phases.

The first phase encompassed a review of existing policy and procedures and establishment of what meaningful outcomes look like for First Peoples communities in consultation with First Peoples stakeholders.

The second phase involved co-design and delivery of the First Peoples Partnership Strategy incorporating agreed activities, responsibilities and measures.

DV were committed to meaningfully engaging and collaborating with First Peoples communities to support short, medium and long term partnership outcomes as part of a commitment to reciprocity and self determination.

Greenshoot worked with a range of internal and external stakeholders to gain a better understanding of opportunities to deliver meaningful outcomes and ultimately establish a process of co-design to develop DV’s First Peoples Partnership Strategy.

The final First Peoples Partnership Strategy was unanimously endorsed by DV executive and recommendations are currently being implemented.
