Architecture and Design

Greenshoot’s design work is place-based and Country-centred. We work with communities, Traditional Owner groups, government, developers, architects, contractors, institutions, planners and landscape architects. Together, we shape outcomes that are socially and environmentally sustainable through the creation of design that is inclusive, engaging and welcoming for all people.

How can Greenshoot help set your project up for success?

Culturally Responsive Design

Country-centred design outcomes support Indigenous leadership and acknowledge the living relationships that First Peoples have with Country. Our extensive experience in crafting Country-centred design outcomes embeds reciprocity in a process that is respectfully collaborative and invites co-creation and sharing of First Peoples’ knowledge.

Landscape and Public Realm Design

Greenshoot’s approach to public realm design integrates knowledge systems and cultural to cocreate spaces that are welcoming, safe, activated and functional. We design inclusive, sustainable, and people-focused public spaces that respond to context and community.

Masterplanning, Placemaking and Visioning

We shape long-term visions for places and spaces through collaborative engagement and codesign processes. Our approach brings together community and stakeholder aspirations to co-create masterplans and place narratives that are practical, Country-centred and future-ready.

Wayfinding and Interpretive Design

We help people connect with place through the design of signage, navigation systems, and interpretive experiences. Our solutions enhance accessibility, identity, and sense of belonging.

Greenshoot works with clients and stakeholders to develop curatorial frameworks and explore public art typologies and commissioning processes that responds deeply to place. Our public art strategies ensure artwork integrates with architecture and public realm design to enhance the sense of place and user experience.
