Vision and Strategy, Traditional Owner Engagement, Research and Insights, Architecture and Codesign

Greenshoot is currently leading the development of a feasibility study, business case and concept design, supporting Taungurung Land and Waters Council’s vision for a centre that will provide cultural, housing and employment opportunities.


Enabled through successful grant funding from Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions via the Enabling Tourism Fund, this project represents a significant cultural, social and economic milestone for the Taungurung Nation.

TLaWC have identified that the centre could support various initiatives, including housing and employment opportunities for Taungurung People as well as economic opportunities for the Taungurung Nation.

The Feasibility Study includes Community Engagement, Site Analysis and Site Selection, Business Case and Concept Design.

The new Culture Centre has the potential to mark a significant moment in Victoria and Australia’s history. The process of engagement embeds Aboriginal agency and self-determination, supporting bi-directional learning and knowledge exchange in defining a unique destination.
