Building upon the successful development of two CBD based vertical learning, teaching and research facilities, the Peter Shergold Building at 1 Parramatta Square and the Liverpool City Campus in the heart of the Liverpool CBD. The university is now focusing upon the development of a third facility – the Bankstown City Campus. This development seeks to deliver the highest quality learning, teaching and research opportunities within the region’s Key CBD’s and growth centres under the strategic initiative called Western Growth.

Greenshoot Consulting delivered a robust engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, students, and Elders to develop an engagement strategy road map to underpin the project and ensure meaningful Indigenous Engagement was implemented within the design process. A series of methodologies were implemented including desktop reviews, historical site mappings, interviews and community engagement workshops along with feedback sessions with the aim of successfully connecting people with place through meaningful engagement.
