The Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations (FVTOC) Indigenous Business Sector Growth Potential project, supported by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR), explored economic growth opportunities for Traditional Owner Corporations (Corporations) in Victoria.
Greenshoot lead engagement with Corporations' CEOs and representatives, identifying constraints, priorities, and opportunities to accelerate economic growth for Corporations, with a focus on business development, wealth accumulation, and sustainable employment.
Greenshoot assessed current economic activities, constraints, and future opportunities through interviews, surveys, and forums. This work laid the foundation for further economic analysis, including an Investment Logic Mapping (ILM) and Cost-Benefit Analysis process, and provided contextual information for two subsequent FVTOC projects: a roadmap for accelerated development and recommended interventions to support Corporations, and relevant enterprises in realising their economic potential.
