What the Client Needed

Greenshoot Consulting was engaged by the Department of Premier & Cabinet to undertake the first stage of Community & Other Stakeholder Engagement for the Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence, a new Indigenous-led sporting and education precinct in Shepparton. As part of this brief, the client was seeking to align all partners and stakeholders around a Vision for the project, identify key activities that would underpin the centre, and build a case for further partnership support.

What We Did

We worked with key Traditional Owners to pressure test the Vision and interviewed a range of other stakeholders and partners to help crystallise the Vision for the Project. As part of this, we developed a Ways of Working Charter for the Munarra Centre and identified the key components that would make up the Centre’s business model. This information was then used to develop a preliminary Case for Support document to be used in discussions with a range of potential partners.

The Outcome

Through this engagement, Greenshoot helped align stakeholders together behind a strong project Vision and established the basis from which to build a series of partnerships to support the ongoing success of the project.
